Students from various educational cycles of our center have participated in the AWARENESS CAMPAIGN ABOUT URBAN WASTE AND ITS RECYCLING. This is a campaign promoted by the City of Bilbao to develop in schools, aimed at students of Secondary and Vocational Education.

Environmental education is an ongoing process and being aware that current students will be responsible for waste management in the future, the City of Bilbao maintains this campaign, to emphasize the importance of correct waste classification and to clarify doubts the school community may have about it.

Objectives

▪ Expand knowledge on urban waste, underlining the waste hierarchy: reduction, reuse and recycling.

▪ To emphasize the importance and responsibility that each person has regarding the waste we generate in the home, raising awareness and raising awareness to assume the need for a personal commitment in its solution.

▪ Encourage those involved in the campaign, so that there is an attitudinal change that favors a reduction in waste generation and a correct separation from the generated ones.

▪ Involve the entire school community in action for the proper separation of waste by raising awareness of a more sustainable environmental awareness.
