Last Friday, May 10, the 1st year Telecommunications Installations students visited the AOTEC telecommunications fair, which this year celebrated its 17th edition at the BEC, Barakaldo.

The acronym AOTEC stands for the National Association of Telecommunications and Internet Services Operators, and it holds an annual fair to present innovations and new projects in the field of telecommunications. The Technology Fair gives a space to the main suppliers and manufacturers of the telecommunications sector, national and international, and which each year brings together alternative operators (local and neutral), technologists, engineers and administrations. This edition has the support of the Basque Government, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the Bilbao City Council.

There, the students were able to learn about the business framework, received explanations about the most popular technologies at the moment, and heard first-hand the needs and requests of companies. From what they told us, they found it a very interesting visit!
